Reading this makes me evermore determined to know the backgrounds and voting practices of our legislature. (See Pat Buchanan's book The Death of the West (as mentioned in previous sited article). We must know them if we are to stop them.

 ERIN (JANUARY 22nd, 2021 1:17pm MT): I'm excited to have a place for all of us to share what is on our minds, as well as what prompted the inhabitation.  While reading this NY Magazine article this morning:  https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2021/01/why-are-conservatives-angry-biden-denounced-white-supremacy.html  I clicked on a referenced 2015 article re: Trump activating Nazi and various white supremacist groups by New Yorker staff writer Evan Osnos:  https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2015/08/31/the-fearful-and-the-frustrated . It is prophetic! I encourage you all to read it. The article encourages me to look deeper into people's actions; the what, whens and the whys. Electing Trump was not a whim or an anomaly, but rooted in the far right's fear of becoming obsolete and powerless. Man, it is solid thought-provoking journalism!
